New NY Style Pizzeria & Bar with 50 Draft Handles to Open in Highlands Ranch, Colorado - January 30, 2012

Craft-brewed beers on tap with wings, NY style pizza and more. This is the first of its kind in the south suburbs of Denver. Pizza and beer lovers unite for the best of both worlds.

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO, January 28, 2012 /Lifestyle PR News/ -- Parry's Pizzeria & Bar - David Parry, owner of Parry's Pizza in Castle Rock, CO and Parry's Pizza in Englewood, CO is planning on the doors to swing wide open January 30, 2012 in the King Soopers shopping center at S. University Blvd and S Colorado Blvd./E Highlands Ranch Parkway. The location is at the roundabout on the east side of the shopping center at 9567 S. University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO.

The new Parry's Pizzeria & Bar is an extension of Parry's Pizza, but rebranded to best suit the metropolitan demographic of those looking for NY-inspired fare including pizza, calzones, pasta, hot sandwiches, salads and desserts. Beyond the menu of edible offerings, Parry's Pizzeria & Bar will have a full bar complete with wine, cocktails and draft beer. There will be a steady rotation of beers to pass through as there are 50 handles of what will be reserved for micro brews from Colorado and all about the nation.

This menu will be much like the current Parry's menu(s) in Parker and Castle Rock but with a few additions and a major tweak in the menu names. The New York stamp has been thoroughly placed all over this location and it shows - an experience that brings you all the more closer to the New York city scene. At this new location, we will be serving Little Italys (deep fried meatballs), The Five Boroughs (pizza with mounds of awesome toppings), SoHo Veggie (vegetarian pizza), Bronx Baller (meatball sandwich), Rooftop Salad (side salad) and Sox Suck Pie (a dessert pizza to be truly loved.) The recipes have not changed one bit, but the experience most certainly has.

At our bar, visitors will be treated to a full compliment of cocktails such as Long Island Iced Tea, Manhattans (with Maker's Mark), a Big Apple Martini, Margaritas and many more. The wine cabinet has been adequately stocked with a wide array of wines from California, Washington and Italy with more varieties expected as time goes. And to properly round out the fullness of the bar, we have 50 taps with beer running through it's lines from Colorado, California, Oregon, Michigan, New York, Delaware with more states looking to be represented on a weekly basis.

The handles of micro brews at our bar will be rotated on a very steady basis. We look to have tap takeover nights, firkin tap nights and many other special events revolving around Colorado's greatest resource (to beer aficionados.) We will be the only bar in the south suburbs with this many handles of micro brewed beers and pizza this amazing and true to the NY style of pie craft. And to make the experience at Parry's Pizzeria all the more resounding, we will have a beer club for the dedicated beer snob, out there; The Ale Yeah Club.

Our Ale Yeah Club was created to treat our best beer-gulping, brew-sniffing customers with special pricing and a sense of belonging to a community that loves beer and takes it seriously. Our Ale Yeah Club will entitle its members to happy hour pricing on beers Sunday through Wednesday, as well as special pricing on our very own Bar Menu. Beyond this perk, members will be tipped off to special events that require a RSVP, like tap takeover nights and special releases from breweries in the area such as Great Divide, Odells, Oskar Blues, Avery, Dry Dock, New Belgium and many more. Being a member gives you first divs on a seat to experience these nights with true VIP status.

The interior of this new location was designed to encompass the patrons in a shell of New York's historic richness. The brick walls are, in all of their urban grandeur, just a taste of the New York city rigidity, while seemingly falling out of their form. The lighting is muted and the tables are hand poured concrete to further the industrialized grip that the dining area has on a visitor. A pleasant experience, indeed. The patio is also quite the jewel in that the Colorado sun can surely play upon a great pizza and a fine micro brew or your favorite Coke product.

As is the case with most pizzerias, the pie is the central theme. We love the idea but we wanted to "draft" our own spin. The pizza at Parry's has always been NY style and will always be. The calzones are still piping hot with cheeses and toppings of choice. Our wings continue to sensationally burn the tongues of our patrons with tangy, spicy goodness - that will not change. What has changed is the interior and the offerings at the fully loaded bar. The entire interior of this new location was designed with New York City on our minds. The bricks and mortar look as if they were transplanted from an old NYC warehouse and the repurposed barn wood seems right at home framing in leather cushioning on the booths. Concrete is pervasive throughout the establishment to adequately reflect the hardened posture of the Big Apple, herself. Not to get lost in the interior excellence is the fact that there is a full bar with fifty handles tapped to craft-brewed beer. Not just any beer, this is some of the best beer that this country has to offer and it's all flowing through a superb tap system right here in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
