Dominique A. Goldbar has established a successful accessories line from her own home
DENVER, CO, November 18, 2011 /Lifestyle PR News/ -- Dominique Goldbar, Owner and Artistic Director of Couture Plumes, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in fashion accessories design.
Having worked as a designer and artist for 22 years, Ms. Goldbar recently decided to establish her own small business, Couture Plumes, LLC, which is dedicated to hair accessory fashions. While she is learning all aspects of being a small business owner, Ms. Goldbar continues to create and design new products, all of which are handmade and one-of-a-kind. Her current responsibilities include creating business plans and mission statements, marketing and promoting the business, determining the target audience, conducting Internet market research, cold calling, and visiting stores in high-end retail locations. Ms. Goldbar also sources vintage jewelry, Italian and Czech beads, Swarovski crystals and various gems to use in her designs, making every effort to buy from small vendors who earn their living based on their sales.
Ms. Goldbar graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Arts. She established Couture Plumes, LLC, after creating jewelry and hair accessories for herself and her family and recognizing, through the compliments and inquiries she received, that there was a broader market for her designs. Hardworking, determined, and passionate about her business, Ms. Goldbar wishes to take Couture Plumes to the next level, hiring an additional artist and staffing a workshop outside of her home.
